President 2013: Candice Medellin
Candice Medellin is an event management specialist with Plan Ahead Events of Atlanta Northwest and a proud Board Member of the Marietta Business Association. For over a decade she has actively poured her life into the local community through a wide range of service. While attending Kennesaw State University she studied political science, history, and education while coaching competition cheerleading squads to regional,state,and national championships. She has been very active in local politics as a volunteer, and she also worked full time as a scheduler for a United States Congressional Campaign. After graduating, Candice taught honors level high school history and government in Cobb County until the birth of her twin daughters changed the course of her life. She decided to use her experience with planning and coordinating in a different capacity that would allow her the opportunity to be active again in the community as a corporate event planner. She has served on many boards, committees, and focus groups throughout Marietta and Cobb County including the Strand Theater on Historic Marietta Square and also the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce. She is passionate about the Marietta Business Association and ready to expand its current efforts to be a powerful catalyst for business growth and service in the community.

I am a proud and devoted father of five beautiful children. I live in the Kennesaw area of West Cobb with my children Alexander, Victoria, Claudia and Joseph. My son Gerard (1999-2010 †) is in Heaven watching over me. I love living, working and playing in Cobb County. Treasurer 2013: Jennifer Stephens
Jennifer Stephens is currently employed at LGE Community Credit Union as the Retail Sales Manager for the Commerce Park Branch located in Marietta, GA. She began her career with LGE in 2005 and has moved rapidly within the company. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication at Kennesaw State University in 2001. She was born and raised in Smyrna Georgia. Jennifer is the youngest of 4 and the only girl. She now resides in Euharlee, Georgia with her Husband, two daughters and one English Bulldog. Jennifer enjoys reading, music and spending time with her family.

Membership Co-Chair 2013: Sue Nicholson
Sue and her husband Kent, have been working hard at building their customers trust and loyalty at their businesses, Cottman Transmission and Advantage Auto Services. These businesses have been serving our local community for 24 years. Now Sue has taken on the task of building customer loyalty to the Marietta Business Association in her role as Membership Director. Sue brings her experience not only as a small business owner for many years but also as an active member of North Atlanta Business Association, Better Business Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Marietta Business Association. Her plans for increasing the Marietta Business Association are very similar to her business model of success that include the philosophies of education, service and satisfaction. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, grandchildren, outdoor activities and friends. Sue welcomes your ideas to help maximize your benefits as members of the Marietta Business Association.

Membership Co-Chair 2013: Edward(Ed) H Long III
He has been at State Bank since April of 2012 but has been in banking for over sixteen (16) years. During his banking career, Ed has worked at Wachovia Bank, Fidelity Bank, Colonial Bank, and BB&T in various jobs of responsible to include banking operations and now branch operations. He thoroughly enjoys working at a retail branch where he can provide the right product or service to put the client in a better financial place.
Prior to his career in banking, Ed was an officer in the United States Army for over six (6) years and served in combat during Operations Desert Shield and Storm. While he loved the military way of life, he decided to leave the service in 1996 so he could provide a better life for his family. Besides spending time with his wife and two sons, Ed enjoys being involved in sports, particularly baseball.
He is currently the President of Ridge Road Community Club, a recreation baseball park in Paulding County, and a board member of the Paulding County Recreation Commission. Other civic involvement include being on the board of United Way of Cobb County and President of Cornerstone at Cedarcrest, as well as being a member of Marietta Kiwanis, Marietta Business Association, South Cobb Business Association, East Cobb Business Association and Marietta Business Professionals.

Special Events Chair 2013: Clint Crowe
Clint Crowe is the Co-Founder and COO of Elite Event Rental, a premier party rental service based out of Kennesaw, GA. At 19 years old, he is also a part time student at Kennesaw State University studying Economics and Finance. Clint will be serving as the vice-chair of Special Events for the Marietta Business Association this year.

Web Master: Damon Endicott
EndiGrow began at the end of 2005 with one client in the Health Care industry. The company had been in business for some time but was reorganizing. After assessing what worked and what did not, a plan was developed and implemented. This included: consolidating roles and responsibilities, developing a business plan, a presentation for the banks and potential investors, a marketing strategy, and stabilizing and documenting the computer environment. Today the firm is healthy, stable and growing.
