Born and raised in Daytona Beach Florida, I realized from an early age that I wanted to live in a city near the mountains.  I acted on that urge as soon as I could graduate from the University of Florida in 1991.  The Atlanta area has been my home for 20 years, and for most of that time I have lived in Cobb County.  It's the perfect place for me and my family and we enjoy living here immensely.  Marietta has it all- great schools, culture, community and access to natural resources!

Sales was always my forte (I knew that when I won a bike for selling the most popcorn at my school as a fifth grader!).  After college I spent the first 16 years of my working career in corporate sales with Toshiba.  In 2007 I left Toshiba and purchased the original free coupon book publication in Georgia-The Little Coupon Book!  A success from it's inception in 1995, The Little Coupon Book has doubled in size in the last four years.  I love that I get to help the people running local businesses while at the same time helping the community at large.  I also see the MBA as a way to do both of those things.

My wife Lisa and I live in Marietta with our two boys who are in their teens.  We enjoy escaping to the mountains and rivers for hiking, biking, fishing, and relaxing.  Scouting is where I spend much of my volunteer time with Troop 797. I am also an avid racquetball player and have started learning to play the guitar over the past two years.  I love experiencing new people, places and things.
